Step 1. Preparation of separate images (frames) for animation Step 3. Frame operations

Step 2. Collection of separate images (frames) in single file.
    You can:
  • load existent GIF- file or project (file with extension .agif), if you click the toolbar button of Standard Toolbar. AGIF uses all global settings and image attributes from this file;
  • import bitmap strip, AVI or ANI- file. For that select menu item File / Import;

  • paste image from clipboard, if you click the toolbar button of Standard Toolbar;
  • add new BMP, JPEG, GIF, ICO, WMF, EMF, PCX, PNG, TGA or PSD- image to your GIF. For that click the toolbar button of Standard Toolbar;
  • add button image to GIF from dialog Button Creator (menu item Tools / Button), if you click the button of this dialog.

    Note: images in GIF- files can contain up to 256 colors. Therefore color palettes of multicoloured images will be transformed to 256 colors.

  • delete needless images (image group selected by checkboxes in the List of images), using menu item Image / Delete or click the toolbar button of Standard Toolbar.
Sample directory (located in the \tutorial\samples) contains the following files: green.bmp, yellow.bmp and red.bmp. Select the green.bmp and AGIF will add new frame with image from selected file. Repeat this operation for yellow.bmp, red.bmp and the second time for yellow.bmp. Now you have four frames in the list.
